To blog or not to blog?

Actually, today it's not even a question. With a new blog being created every few seconds and several million blog posts being created every min - I'm certainly in good company. Over the past year I've been jumping into the social media pond at the deep end and learning all about this new world of media - from Facebook to Twitter, iGoogle to Wikipedia - I've explored it all. But this is the first time I've done my own blog. Why? Well to be honest, it's a bit intimidating.

Out in the blogsphere there's a blog about every conceivable (and inconceivable) topic - what more could I have to say? But hey - we'll just have to see won't we? I've never been known to be short of a word or two, so this blog will be a mix-mash of fun and frivolity, travel and thoughts. I think I'll enjoy writing it and along the way, hopefully someone will enjoy reading it.
